Last week something triggering happened at school for my 7yoG which led to very bad anxiety. The Liiift brought it out and it has been nice to understand the emotions, clarify her thoughts and feelings, and also to show her how far she has come by herself. She has really enjoyed doing it as it helps her to reflect on her day! And it has been a great way to help make sure I check in with her too to record the journey.

Parent7yoG

Again, we did the tools in the car after school. It was a great use of time and allowed 9yoB to dissect his day and look at all the aspects. I would never have heard as much if we hadn’t used TL as a guide.

Parent9yoG

8yoG say it helps her express her feelings without anybody knowing and for me it is enabling us to open a dialogue about her worries, some of which were completely unknown to me beforehand.

Parent8yoG

Just started today and in 90 seconds I've already found out something I didn't know that I really need to support 8yoG with - I'm a busy working mum so this has been so effective, thank you!

Parent7yoG

The first time I got 10yoB to do it with husband sitting at table and me with 7yoB and we did it together. Little bit of copying at first but then they really got into it. It revealed so much and became a lovely family conversation.

Parent10yoB

Today I did session with my 7yoB after school. It was a great session all 4/5 but then dinner went AWOL so interesting how quickly they change. At least I knew there wasn’t anything going on at school and it was just tiredness. 10yoB also enjoyed the connection as usually he is quite quiet.

Parent10yoG

I did it with10yoG last night and she scored generally high and seemed in good spirits but I could tell something was niggling. When we got to moodmeter that’s when the issues from the day came out that otherwise wouldn’t have until bedtime which was nice to then have the time properly to talk things over and move on to something more positive once we’d talked it out.

Parent9yoG

I’m always looking for signs of how my two are feeling emotionally after a huge trauma. This has been a reassuring and effective tool as it’s a great talking point for us to discuss their feelings openly in a non pressured and fun way and I can see how they're tracking. Both mine esp liked the garden drawing part!

Parent9yoG + 8yoB

This is def a tool I will use going forward... for the whole family! I think once or twice a week online rather than every day unless I’m trying to monitor something. On the days I don’t do it recorded we will definitely talk about it maybe over supper instead as the conversations it has generated have been brilliant!
